A hike on my own from Nant Peris where I camped the night up Elidir Fawr. It was cloudy with patches of fog at the summit and bands of rain occasionally coming through along with moderate wind. I took the path from the summit towards Y Garn but then scambled down into the valley below. From here I hiked onto the track into Dinorwic to explore the slate mines a little before returning to Nant Peris as it was getting dark.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
