Mountain Month Day 2
Day 2 of the mountain month we headed to Tryfan Bach, todays aim was for us to get a feel for lead climbing, we choose Tryfan Bach as it’s a great learning environment, it was great as the angle of the climb is gentle enough for you not to worry about and means that I could focus more on placing gear safely and setting up belays and anchors. Tim was on a rope next to us while we climbed and Dave and me took it in turns to lead each route and practice all of the above. When we reached the top we practiced escaping the system and them Abseil off the route. This was a great day and there was lots of information to take in, we alternately lead 3 routes and then abseiled off the top.
