Various Routes Graded 4a – 6a
Mountain Month Day 4
Day 4 of the mountain month we headed to the Beacon Climbing Wall. We arrived just after midday the climbing wall was very busy the main wall was closed as they where route setting for the weekend competition. And then the other half was used by a large army group we decided to have lunch and then managed to get onto the corner of the wall, the grades where low but set ourselves different challenges, for example: could only use feet, different colours for hands and feet. This was to help our selves balance on the wall and focus on technique.
When the army group left we got a chance to get on some harder routes and really focus on technique. We also had a go at leading route looking at lead belaying, we also chatted about group management at an indoor wall.
