Leading 12 year 11-13 students from Matravers school with one of IML (Ed Fairnington) and two assisting staff (Padge & Lewis).
A great full winter day and not very alpine! Lots of fresh snow at a all levels, poor visibility above 1300m and strong winds on the summit ridge. We avoided the recommended descent route as it was heavily corniced and looked very spooky, instead we stuck to the ridge line and exited at a better angle. the kids did brilliantly! An excellent end to the trip, followed by a mega snowball fight and fondue.
