Description

Parked my car nere the llyn gwynant, because today was such an awful day "ideal" for practising nav, started and went up Yr Arddu 388m, naving, this day felt more like a survival then anything else, I learnt ALO, as i have pre-planned a route with feaures to aim for, but i just pushed to get the Cnitch summit, which i did, i then naved back down a differnt path heading past llyn yr adur lake, then headed towards the road and back to the car, In hinisight learnt alot from today!

Area : Moelwynion

The Moelwynion (a Welsh plural, sometimes anglicised to Moelwyns) are a group of mountains in central Snowdonia. They extend from the north-east of Porthmadog to Moel Siabod, the highest of the group. The name derives from the names of the two largest mountains in the group, Moelwyn Mawr (great white hill) and Moelwyn Bach (little white hill).
