Description

Today was an amazingly useful day, we started at 10, and did loads of micro nav, some with/without compass, we had perfect "minging" weather to be doing some practice.
We then walked and each did a leg of night nav on the way back towards the car. very useful day, learnt the importance of getting distances measures right from the start.
We had lots of snow in the air, rain, wind, sleet, great day.

Area : Moelwynion

The Moelwynion (a Welsh plural, sometimes anglicised to Moelwyns) are a group of mountains in central Snowdonia. They extend from the north-east of Porthmadog to Moel Siabod, the highest of the group. The name derives from the names of the two largest mountains in the group, Moelwyn Mawr (great white hill) and Moelwyn Bach (little white hill).
