Today was a hugely useful day, both very scary and confidence boosting at the same time, I parked my car by the bridge in bethesda, then night naved up towards to cwm ceunant, by this time it was light enough to no need the head torch, Today i knew it was going to be awful weather because felt i needed a day on my own and really relying on my bearings ect.. the snow came in, and full white out conditons hit hard around 8:30-9:00 at this point i got to the summit of Carnedd Y fillast, and decieded to head back as the conditions were meant to be worsening throughout the day, so had a great "real life" opportunity to test my back bearings, walking on a bearing, timing, and general winter navigation, i was really happy and i always knew where i was and learnt alot, great day really useful.
