This area is situated on the north-western tip of Scotland and contains 4 Munros (from biggest to smallest); Ben More Assynt (998m), Conival (987m), Ben Klibreck (962m) and Ben Hope (927m). Also included in the mountains list are all of the peaks above 700m. The southern boundary is the road which joins Ullapool to Lairg and then to the A9.
Started at the lay bay opposite the Crask Inn (NC 523 247) Headed to summit of Cnoc Sgriodain then onto the high summits listed above after the final summit headed down and picked up the Loch Choire and hand railed this until remnants of the track appeared through the snow then headed back to the start point. Nice gentle day from the one before nag has to be on the ball as very easy to become disoriented on the descent.
