Return trip from Granchar hut to Borovets; weather fairly nasty, especially in the morning where rain was heacy and visibility poor so myself and my companion elected for the long walk following the trails that contoured the Eastern side of the mountain chain at around 2000m. The afforded the chance to visit some other huts during the journey (and the delight of hot beany soup on a cold, wet day. With just one companion we also got some good wildlife spots.
