Description

Start at Rhyd Ddu and walk along forest to Bwlch y Moch. Hand rail the forest edge and head up the steep spur of Foel Rudd. Continue to Mynydd Mawr and return same way. This was part of a MTUK Mountain skills course and lots of navigation was carried out. I was also moderated for my AALA Licence.

Area : Nantlle & Hebog

The Nantlle Ridge is the name given to a small range of mountains in Snowdonia, north Wales which runs south-west from the village of Rhyd Ddu for a distance of about 9 km (6 mi), ending above Talysarn and Nebo in the Nantlle Valley.
