Went out with Ryan Lang who did his MIA training with me. He wanted to get out for some scrambling practise. Weather was very poor in the morning an extremely wet and windy. We decided to go in the lieu of the wind on Tryfan`s East face and ascend Bastow buttress and then go down Nor Nor Grooves. It was a great day with us swapping ideas and knowledge of the area. We took it in turns to lead sections of the scrambles in ascent and descent.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
