I've known Dan over two years and throughout this time he's been extremely supportive of my getting back into hill and mountain walking within Britain, giving lots of support and knowledge when needed, he's very easy-going but very professional at the same time, I also feel his energy holds no bounds and I do not know where he finds the time to compete at the level he does. Over the two years I've gotten to know Dan our acquaintance as turned into a friendship. He has supported me in getting back into fitness after a serious injury, both mentally and physically he's allowed me the time to progress through the challenges he has set over the past two years. I support Dan in any future endeavours , within the adventure training challenges set ahead.

Dan has been my climbing/ walking mentor for over 3 years now. Dan was the reason I took up Adventure Training and continues to help with my personal and professional development, he is always happy to help or be at the end of a phone for advice, having spent a year recovering from an illness that left me with half lung capacity it was refreshing to find a mentor that not only catered climbs and walks around my needs but also encouraged me to push a little beyond what I thought were my limits and I will continue to progress with his help and support. Dan's enthusiasm for Adventure Training is second to none, he has an outstanding ability to help cadets gain confidence in themselves to achieve qualifications and enjoy the outdoors as well as projecting the same qualities and assurances for adults under his direction

Danny is a great person to be with in the outdoors. He has great experience and depth of knowledge of the outdoor environment, and skilfully and thoughtfully puts his knowledge across in a variety of ways to enrich a mountain day and ensure that new skills and knowledge will be learned effectively. His friendly and approachable demeanor creates cohesion within a group or between a pair, and his great strength, his leadership skills, inspires confidence that the outcome will be a safe and enjoyable experience of the activity undertaken. His meticulous approach to planning and briefing also ensures that all know what to expect, and that should the situation change there is confidence that Danny has the skills and knowledge to adapt to ensure a safe outcome for all concerned. Danny is a great person to be with in the outdoors.

Dan is a genuine and friendly guy, I've known him for a few years and he's both encouraged and guided me through the outdoor world and played a big part in me gaining qualifications. Without his guidance, tuition and help even when I've failed I would probably have given up ages ago.
