Hello! I’m a qualified Mountain Leader with over 30 years’ experience of walking the UK’s hills and mountains. I offer skills training and guided mountain walks throughout the UK’s uplands, with an emphasis on north Wales.
As a life-long nature lover I am keen to promote the often overlooked flora and fauna of our uplands. If nothing else, it can bring a welcome splash of colour to those days when the cloud is down over the tops and the rain won’t let up. So if you are out with me for the day don’t be surprised if I suddenly drop to the ground to photograph some interesting plant or other!
When not out in the hills I lead walks, nature rambles and cycle rides around the greener parts of my native West Midlands, often in partnership with local organisations, in a bid to get people active and out exploring their neighbourhood.
