I run the Highland Adventure School who run high quality skills courses, tailored coaching and instruction in the Highlands of Scotland.
NaNI have known Jonny for a few years. He has great energy and enthusiasm for many things including a passion for the hills and mountains both in the UK and overseas. I would endorse his skills and experience in a mountain environment toward gaining further training and qualification.

Jonny has developed a wide range of outdoor experience and qualifications. Foremost a paddler he has also completed MIA training and will be on the winter ML scheme this coming season. I support his application to register for the IML scheme, he has completed a number of significant overseas expeditions although generally of a paddling nature they have taken him into some remote areas. Jonny has the right temperament in my view for this award, he is cheerful and professional in all he does and is very good with a wide range of people / clients. He will make a good IML in due course.

NaNJonny is an ideal candidate for the WMCI scheme. I Have worked with him in various disciplines, with a variety of clientele. Jonny by nature is progressive, reflective and proactive. I have worked with Jonny on a multi pitch rock climbing course in Spain. He is a great staff member - actively making decisions and leading the group using initiative. I have worked for Highland Adventure School (Jonnies buisness) and he has always maintained a professional and approachable relationship with me prior, during and post course. I have winter climbed with Jonny and his is strong, fluid and safe on the lead. Jonny has a great deal of coaching knowledge from his paddle sport background and a great deal of coaching, leading and guiding experience. I have witnessed the relationships and rapports he builds with his clients which lead to a positive learning environment. All this will stand him in excellent stead for the WMCI award.
