Climbing Wall Leading Award Refresher workshop: This workshop will look at some key elements of the CWLA award scheme and the teaching of lead climbing indoors and will be run by Steven Pease, an experienced provider of the Climbing Wall Leading award training and assessment courses. It is aimed at current CWLA holders wanting a refresher, trainees preparing for assessment or those who have registered on the CWLA who are simply looking for abit of practice and reassurance before booking on a training course. This workshop is NOT a substitute for a CWLA training course. Equipment: please bring personal climbing kit - harness, helmet, climbing shoes, rope, belay device(s) and quickdraws if they have them. Please bring a pen and paper for note-taking. Bring a packed lunch (although this can be bought at Big Rock). Venue: Big Rock in Milton Keynes Timings: 10am – 4pm Please note- This workshop needs a minimum of 4 bookings to run. Attendees will be notified 2 weeks before the event if the workshop is at risk of being cancelled due to low numbers.
