Lowland Navigation Refresher workshop: This workshop is intended as a navigation refresher for Lowland Leader award holders and for trainees also preparing for assessment. It will include a session on night navigation. This workshop will also be suitable if you’re undertaking another walking award scheme (HML, ML) but you’re frequently operating/working in lowland terrain and want some specific training in lowland navigation. Equipment: Suitable clothing for walking in, walking boots, waterproofs, rucksack with some spare clothing, food, drink, head torch, compass. If you already have a map of the area please bring it along – if not, this can be provided. Venue: The Chilterns, we will meet in the car park near Ivinghoe Beacon GR 963159 Timings: Midday – 7pm (night nav included) Please note- This workshop needs a minimum of 4 bookings to run. Attendees will be notified 2 weeks before the event if the workshop is at risk of being cancelled due to low numbers.
