Sunday October 30th - Intro to Night Nav - Langdale - meeting at NT Stickle carpark 16:00 This is an introduction working our way from being comfortable as the light fades through to basic broad feature navigation. Learning sheets will be provided aimed at the next session. Attendees should have a basic understanding of day time navigation. Essential kit: Map & Compass - we'll have some different types for comparison - but bring what you're happiest with. Maps for the area include OS OL7 1:25:000, also worth bringing OL6 if you have a copy Head torch - ideally two - but spare batteries if not! Waterproofs Warm drink Money for a pub afterwards &... A sense of humour... This is a peer led session, so there'll always be at least one fully qualified and experienced ML on hand - but most sessions will be led by Kelvyn James who is a working IML.
