In response to AMI member requests, Lyon Equipment Limited are delivering an IRATA International level 1 rope access technician course specifically for full members of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors (AMI) i.e. MIA assessed as a minimum. This level 1 course with additional content will be of particular benefit to those members who are offering technical advice to walls, ropes courses, charity abseils from buildings etc. and attracts 5 AMI CPD points. Of particular interest is the fact that due to the course only being open to full AMI members, the training elements will include advanced course content which would not normally be covered on a level 1 course. The course will be delivered with reference throughout to a range of sector good practice methods and guidance including adventure activities sector, rope access, ropes courses and climbing walls.
