Course aims:
This is an intensive course to improve your ski technique, by giving you a good understanding of the 3 'key' movements of a ski turn, together with personal coaching. Ski party leader skills will also be introduced, and it is a good opportunity to get advice on latest equipment trends, and safety issues, especially regarding bindings.
For guides and those who have attended the course more than once, it is an opportunity to develop personal ski skills. This makes skiing interesting and gives one the ability in turn to coach clients. Its a good opportunity to discuss guiding and equipment issues.
Presentations on ski technique theory and equipment are part of the course.
Do ask plenty questions to ensure it is a real learning experience!
There is no assessment on this course. It is a good opportunity for the new candidates to meet BMG members
Instructors:
Instructors are specialists with huge experience and 'experts' who train and assess ski instructors at the top level. Alex has instructed almost every member of the BMG over more than 15 years of running these courses.
