Winter is nearly upon us, so 'tis the season to be navigating by night. No doubt time has hung heavy on your hands over the long summer evenings, and you've been longing for darkness at teatime so that you can get out on some featureless moorland and get lost! Whatever the reason, Night Nav practice is always popular. We'll be meeting, as is our wont, in a pub car park at 6pm, bumbling about on the moor for three hours, and then repairing to the said pub for a pint about 9pm. This time we're starting from the Fox House, and Cath Sinclair, one of our seasoned Peak Region members, will be co-ordinating. This is a peer-led activity, and the usual health and safety rules apply: you are responsible for your own safety, and should bring whatever personal first aid kit and meds you may need. We're not normally out long enough to need food on the go, but make your own decision on this. Bring whatever spare layers and waterproofs your reading of the weather forecast seems to indicate.
