“Mountain Leaders should be familiar with techniques to ensure safe travel through steep and broken ground.” This workshop looks at a combination of the hard and soft skills required to manage groups in these areas.
We will cover…
• Planning, Route choice and group management
• Suitability of rope and other equipment
• Rope management
• Appropriate knots
• Belaying and selection of safe anchors
• Correct use of an appropriate system
This workshop will be delivered by Will Kilner who is an approved provider for the Mountain Leader Scheme.
