Leave No Trace Trainer Certification

Workshop content

This is a two-day course with an overnight camp, worth 2 CPD points. This course follows the ‘Leave No Trace Trainer’ syllabus and gives candidates opportunity to gain a range of skills related to teaching the principles of Leave No Trace and encouraging the development of positive environmental ethics with their own clients. Graduates become recognised Leave No Trace Trainers and are qualified to deliver ‘Awareness Workshops’ on behalf of the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics.

Cost includes educational resources (books will be available for purchase).

What to bring

All required food and equipment for a two day event- appropriate to the weather conditions and the terrain.

Timings

10am – 5pm Saturday, 9am - 4pm Sunday

Accommodation

We will spend the night camping within the National Park and participants will carry their own equipment for the duration of the weekend.

This workshop is exclusive to MTA members at a discounted price of £130. Normal price for non-members: £150-170.
