Star gazing for instructors

Ever found yourself out at night in a dark location and wanted to know more about the multitude of stars that fill the sky? Or been out on an overnight camp and wanted to show the group an often under appreciated resource? This evening session is designed to give you a basic introduction to the star patterns and features of the night sky. No previous knowledge is nessesary but some understanding would be useful.

Workshop provider credentials

Steve Day has over 20 years experience of delivering fieldwork courses and adventurous activities for numerous providers. He has a background in Environmental Sciences and have a personal interest in Astronomy including astrophotography and has delivered astronomy workshops for primary schools, colleges and teacher training sessions.

Cost

A nominal fee of £3 to be collected on the evening of the event. Please bring cash not card - many thanks.
