Understanding the Afon Ddu: Environmental Training for Gorge Walking Groups

This FREE half day workshop has been organised by Snowdonia Active and will focus on the unique gorge environment encountered whilst gorge walking and how to ensure your groups get the best out of the day within the special environment of the Afon Ddu.  The workshop will include a hands on exploration of the gorge, discussions around the importance of protected sites, how to ensure minimal impact whilst leading groups, using the gorge walking code of conduct and flora species identification in the field. With contributions from gorge environment experts within NRW. 

This will be a wet activity workshop, please bring your own PPE.
