The BMC’s NEW Coaching Children workshop is designed to help coaches better understand how they can maximize the impact of their coaching sessions with young people, discover how to create a stimulating and positive learning environment, where young climbers are motivated to learn through fun, enjoyment and challenge.

Coaching Children will introduce coaches to innovative new tools and practices to help them develop all facets of a young person’s climbing skills, from the technical and tactical to the mental. In addition, this workshop also aims to provide coaches with a clear framework of safe practice in the introduction of basic physical training for young people to support their climbing.
