A morning looking at aspects of the upland environment of particular interest to MTA members, focusing on key vegetation and wildlife habitat features. We will have an opportunity to identify the principal plant species from a variety of upland habitats and discuss their ecological importance. We will also look at a range of current upland conservation issues.
