Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to supervise climbers on purpose built artificial climbing walls and boulders. The scheme does not include the skills and techniques required to teach lead climbing.

Our passionate, highly experienced and qualified instructors cover the syllabus in a fun and informative way. During the course and at the end, we will give personalised feedback and work with you to create an action plan, so your progression to a successful assessment is as swift as possible.

You can book and pay for the Climbing Wall Instructor Training Course directly through the website.
We regularly run the course in Sheffield (using the Foundry and Awesome Walls) but can run the course at other venues if desired.
Beyond the Edge also provide the Outdoor First Aid course required before assessment.
