There are many reasons why you might feel the need for a refresher before you undertake your assessment. Maybe it's quite a few years since you did your training course, or perhaps you've already done your assessment, but you were deferred on one or more aspects of the syllabus. Whatever the reason, this course will sharpen your skills and prepare you for assessment. The detail of the programme will be dependent on the needs of the participants. We recommend leaving plenty of time between your refresher and your assessment or reassessment, so that you can absorb and practice any new information. Who is it for? Trainees and award holders of Mountain Leader Who is running the course? Chris Ensoll, International Mountain Guide and experienced course provider for Lowland Leader, Mountain Leader, Rock Climbing Instructor, and Climbing Wall Instructor. If we have more than six people on the course, or Chris isn't available, we will bring in one of our freelance instructors to help run the course - this will always be a Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor.
