Award Description
Our Rock Skills courses are designed to provide structured training opportunities for people who want to learn more and become independent climbers. There are three different levels so that complete beginners and those with more experience can choose the most appropriate starting point.
About
Beyond the Edge are one of the UK's most experienced providers of Mountain Training qualifications with highly qualified and hugely experienced instructors.
Our passionate team will aim to put you at ease and deliver training at a pace appropriate to you. You can read the hundreds of 5* Google reviews about us on our website. We usually run the course on the great Gritstone crags of Stanage and Burbage which are on the doorstep of our course base in the Peak District.

You can book and pay for your Rock Skills course directly through our website.
We run regular courses from our base in Grindleford in the Peak District but can also run the course on a bespoke basis at different venues or times.
Beyond the Edge also provide an Outdoor First Aid course to fully equip you with the skills to be safe on the crag. If you have a faithful four legged friend that accompanies you, you may also be interested in our Canine First Aid Course.
Accommodation discounts at The Sir William (our course base - S32 2HS) are available for Beyond the Edge guests.
