This a key event within the course director training scheme delivered at Plas y Brenin; 20th - 21st March 2025.
Only ‘Course director trainees' may attend this event.
Day 1; ‘Effective training and fair assessment’ – Delivering quality and nationally consistent training and assessment.
Day 2; ‘Scheme specific delivery’ - Structuring and delivering courses for specific schemes.
Attendance is mandatory on both days for those who do not already hold course director approvals (for other schemes) with Mountain Training England.
Individuals who are already approved as course directors with Mountain Training England are required to attend day 2 only. Individuals are welcome to join both days if they wish.
Please note existing skills tutors will need to attend both days.
The cost covers lunch on the first day only, it does not include accommodation. The event must be booked on CMS in advance.
It is expected modules 1 and 2 are completed prior to attendance.
