About

Turning climate concern into action: How climate change is affecting the Alps and what you can do about it

  • Have you ever worried about the impact of the outdoors industry on climate change?
  • Are you concerned that the education you provide your clients on climate change is outweighed by the impact of them travelling to take a trip with you?
  • Would you like to learn about the most effective actions we can all take to have a positive impact on the climate and how to discuss these with your clients?

Join researchers from the climate research charity Giving Green, with International Mountain Leader and non-profit founder Jennifer Stretton to answer these questions.

The presentation will include interactive activities and Q&A.

Voluntary donation to join the workshop

This workshop is being offered for free by Jennifer in collaboration with experts from Giving Green. In the spirit of the workshop and putting climate concern into action - you are invited to make a voluntary donation of £20 to Giving Green’s top recommended climate charities.

The charities that Giving Green recommend are so effective that a £20 donation is the equivalent to reducing 20 tons of carbon in the atmosphere (the average emissions of two people in the UK per year).

We invite you to follow this link to give a donation

Please make sure you are booked on the workshop before following this link
