WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
A social and networking walk in the Chilterns National Landscape (AONB). Come and enjoy the day in the countryside in the company of other MTA members, increase knowledge of the lowland walking environment and pick up tips from other members. The walk starts at Coombe Hill NT free car park and heads towards the Boer War Memorial before venturing out into the beautiful surrounding countryside around Ellesborough and passing through Chequers - the country home of the PM. A short lunch break at the farm shop café and then we head into the vast Buckmoorend and Dunsmore woodlands before returning to the car park. The Russell Arms is down the road if anyone wishes to relax after the walk.

If you need to use public transport, we may be able to arrange a lift for you from High Wycombe train station- please get in touch with Abdul in advance to discuss.
EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED
OS Explorer 181 Chiltern Hills North if you would like to bring a map, although it will be fully led. Outdoor kit appropriate for the weather/conditions on the day.
CATERING/FOOD
Bring your own packed lunch, snacks and water as required.
