Award Description

This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to supervise climbers on purpose built artificial climbing walls and boulders. The scheme does not include the skills and techniques required to teach lead climbing.

The course will have both days commencing and finishing at the great purpose built new climbing centre of SummitUp. Using all of the resources there - bouldering, bottom roping/leading, huge clip and climb, speed wall and Valo climb. The second wall will be in the adjascent Mahdlo Youthzone, this minimises travel time, cost and impact over the two days.

The wall entry fees are included in the course costs.

There is a great cafe on site
