WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
As increasing numbers of people seek the beauty, exhilaration and health and well-being benefits of outdoor recreation, our collective mark on the environment and its natural processes, increases. Litter, disturbance to vegetation, water pollution, disturbance of wildlife, livestock and other people are all indicators of the need to develop an ethic that seeks to minimise our impacts to both natural and cultural heritage.
Leave No Trace is both an aspirational concept and a training process.
The webinar aims to introduce the 7 LNT principles and give tips for outdoor professionals to practice and advocate whilst leading groups.
Dates for a two day face to face LNT Trainer course in 2025 will also be given.
