This workshop is for MTA’s mentors. If you were previously involved in the programme and wish to mentor a trainee member in 2025 this refresh of your mentoring skills is for you.
In this workshop we will remind you of the mentoring programme, the training you attended previously, and give updates on mentees’ motivations, goal setting, well formed outcomes, ownership of the mentoring process and responsibility. There will be time for questions and break out rooms where you will have the chance to share mentoring experiences with other mentors. We will also cover the new Leadership Competencies which are recent additions to the walking qualification and climbing qualification syllabuses.
Please work through the Mentor Skills elearning module here (link to Articulate) prior to attending.
