Award Description
The Lowland Leader qualification has been designed for people who wish to lead groups on day walks in lowland countryside and woodland in summer conditions. The majority of the UK and Ireland is made up of this type of terrain so you'll never be short of places to go walking.
About
This assessment will cover all syllabus areas for the Lowland Leader, incorporating a mix of written, practical and presentation assessment styles.
Please refer to the handbook, available on the Mountain Training website.
You need to have completed a First Aid training of a minimum of 16 hours, and your pre requiste number of logged (Dlog) walks. Most importantly, you should be ready for the assessment in your own mind.
