Award Description
The Lowland Leader qualification has been designed for people who wish to lead groups on day walks in lowland countryside and woodland in summer conditions. The majority of the UK and Ireland is made up of this type of terrain so you'll never be short of places to go walking.
An all inclusive Lowland Leader Award Course with NO hidden extras, All the Registration, Training and assessment fees are covered.
We refund the £67 Registration fee, or pay this fee for you on booking the programme with Teesoutdoors. If you have already paid it, you can book on this site, Otherwise go to the Teesoutdoors website.
the course includes a 1:1 welcome and induction workshop online where we go through the requirements of registration, preparation and how the Logbooks work, the 2 day training in March, ongoing support through consolidation and the 2 day assessment in September.
To Book.
You will need a Mountain Training ID, account and number. (Free)
You will need to Log 10 day walks you have done in the past. (Free)
You will need to contact us and book the course.
We will then
Pay the course registration fees and register you for the LLA.
Work with you to upload your digital logs pre training.
Deliver the Training and put you in contact with the class group.
Provide ongoing support through consolidation period (April to August)
Deliver the Assessment weekend and
To achieve the award
Attend the March Training weekend on Dates
Do 10 days walking between training and assessment.
