WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES: Join us for a free RCI CPD day with Brendan Tyrrell! We will cover personal abseiling safety; using in situ anchors safely; emergency set ups. After lunch, we will cover: resolving unusual trad placements/ issues; Lead climb retreat.

EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED: Please bring; approach shoes, harness, helmet, belay plate, prussik, lockers and slings. Basic trad rack between the group. Tick protection. Sun cream.  Personal medication. (We will be away from the cars throughout the day).

CATERING/FOOD: Bring lunch and food/water for the day.

WORKSHOP PROVIDER CREDENTIALS: Brendan has been climbing 16 years on rock, ice and choss. He is a qualified Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor (MCI). With a mechanical background that aids his teaching systems, Brendan enjoys introducing others to outdoor experiences.
