WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Join us for a Mountain Environment Hike in Wicklow led by Helen Lawless, Access & Environment Manager with Mountaineering Ireland. This will be a full day hike, starting at the Wicklow Gap (inside car park), heading up to Tonelagee and down to Barnacullian, one of the Wicklow Mountains National Park’s peatland restoration sites.
Together, we will learn about habitats and species, discuss access, consider the impact of recreation, and share advice on good practice for walkers and climbers.
