GETTING TO KNOW YOUR GARMIN GPS WORKSHOP Is GPS one of the dark arts as far as you are concerned? Come and have the mysteries revealed in this in-depth hands-on full day workshop. The training will be based specifically on getting to know your Garmin handsets and their capabilities, so make sure you come armed with as many questions as they can think of. If you have one, please bring your Garmin GPS along with you on the day. If you do not own a Garmin GPS please get in touch when you book as we have a few systems for you to use. This workshop forms part of a FREE CPD day organised by the West Midlands Regional Team and led by experts in their fields. This is a great opportunity for members to get together, improve their awareness and practice and refresh their skills. A member of the MTA Development Team will also be along to give an update on the association before the workshop begins. WHAT TO BRING: Your Garmin GPS (please email us upon booking if you don't have a Garmin GPS so that we can book a device for you). Bring a packed lunch and dress appropriately for the weather and time of year. Sessions will be held both indoors and outside so please dress warmly. This particular session forms part of a subsidised MTA CPD event in the West Midlands. Jim Derry is based in North Wales and will be running a number of GPS workshops for MTA members throughout the year.
