This two day direct entry qualification course will focus on; route setting good practice, the creative process, hold attachment, rescues, rope-work, WAH regulations, LOLER/PUWER, ladder use, equipment, tools and more. The course is intended for climbers who have a have a basic level of rope-work skills, can lead / belay and and ability to lead F6b indoors comfortably. The course is also appropriate for designated route setter rescuers. Attendance on Level 1 is NOT a pre-requirement for this course. It will be taught by Nate McMullan, Professional Route Setter, RSA Senior Trainer, IRATA Level 3 qualified technician and Mountaineering Instructor. All equipment provided. This course is approved for 1 MTA or 2 AMI CPD points. All PPE / Safety equipment, course manual and a selection of tools are included in the course cost.
