Ogwen Mountain Rescue have kindly offered us an evening to visit the base and see what they get up to! Some of the areas they will cover Call out procedure, Medical kit used/carried, Use of stretchers for transferring a casualty, Typical rope rescue technique used on crags Water kit/rescue overview. This is a must for anyone working in the mountains, especially in the Ogwen area There is no fee for this, the team have mentioned that an individual voluntary donation/contribution to the team is always appreciated.
