This workshop is aimed at qualified Mountain Leaders or Mountain Leader trainees who feel they would benefit from a refresher or update on their emergency rope work and carries. This may be of particular interest to those members living in the South East. The session will look at progressive strategies to look after party members ultimately ending in potential use of the rope.

What you need to bring

Clothing suitable for being out on the hill, including gloves, a helmet and ML rope (if you have one). A rucksack with spare clothing will also be of use.

Workshop provider

The workshop is being delivered by Steven Pease of Vertical Relief who has worked on Mountain Leader course for a number of years. He is an approved Course Director for training and assessments courses and works regularly throughout the year on courses based in North Wales.
