This evening workshop will give an overview of Technical Advice relevant to climbing walls. It is not an introductory workshop, so a base level of technical advising experience is expected (e.g. the legal implications, roles, writing of SoCs, etc). It will be delivered by Nate McMullan, of Climbing Wall Services: MT CWA Provider, RSA Founder and Senior Trainer, MIA, IRATA L3 and “Retired” TA for a multitude of climbing centres, including some of the largest commercial centres in the UK, wall manufacturers, schools, leisure centres, Expert Witness and consultant.

The session will be flexible depending on what participants wish to discuss, but generally the content will cover the various roles a commercial and non-commercial climbing centre TA. The session will not be a practical session, heated debate is welcome!
