Climbing for All is a one day course providing an introduction to instructing disabled people in climbing. The course has now been delivered for over 12 years and was developed by Adventure for All and Mountain Training England. Climbing for All is an Association of Mountaineering Instructors approved course.
The purpose of the course is to provide instructors and coaches increased confidence and skills to enable disabled people to experience and enjoy climbing. The course also provides you with an opportunity to test your instructing and coaching skills in new territories.

• How do Disabilities Occur
• Models of Disability
• Inclusive/Integrated/Segregated?
The second half covers
• Climbing Environments
• Side Supported Climbing
• Vertical Hoists
• Wheelchair Abseiling
Course provider
Graeme has been at the leading edge of development in access to the outdoors for over 20 years. He assisted in the development of the course and has been delivering if for over 12 years. Graeme works full time as a disability programme manager for Link4Life leisure trust. He was the founder of the GB paraclimbing team and is currently the secretary for IOL Adventure for All Professional Practice Group.
