Award Description
The Lowland Leader qualification has been designed for people who wish to lead groups on day walks in lowland countryside and woodland in summer conditions. The majority of the UK and Ireland is made up of this type of terrain so you'll never be short of places to go walking.
About
This is a non-residential training course run from our Outdoor Learning base in East Lothian. We'll be out in the lowlands of East Lothian, Lammermuirs, The Pentlands or Fife hills. We will provide all maps and can lend other outdoor equipment if required. The course runs from 9am to 5:00pm on both days; with some 'homework' time required on the middle evening. We will meet at our base in Musselburgh on the first day. (A reduced price is available for ELC teachers and community group leaders.)
