Workshop Info: The session will start with a quiz in small teams and then look at factors affecting decision making in the winter environment as a leader and winter sports participant.
The workshop will highlight leaders responsibilities when working in winter or on snow, and refresh knowledge regarding current practice when using avalanche transceivers when operating in the winter environment. And also teaching it’s use with other safety kit!
Each participant should arrive with a functioning transceiver; aspirants can borrow from Simon if needed. Please let Simon know if you need to borrow a unit.
Participants should arrive with one or more questions regarding the IML Operating in the winter.
Session will begin and end in the classroom with a short session outside.
