Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to supervise climbers on purpose built artificial climbing walls and boulders. The scheme does not include the skills and techniques required to teach lead climbing.
About
A Climbing Wall Instructor training course that will look to deliver the training elements of the syllabus and prepare you for working as a Climbing Wall Instructor.
We will visit a number of wall venues throughout the two days in order to experience the variety of wall types that maybe seen when working. Topics will include warm-ups, safety, bouldering and movement, group work and belaying, remit and scope of the scheme.
Included in the course will be the Climbing Wall Instructor Abseil Module Training. Please ensure that you register for both awards in the scheme. The Abseil module is free to register for when you register for the Climbing Wall Instructor Scheme.
