This climbing club hut is small but well-equipped, in the Croesor Valley, just inland of Porthmadog. The Moelwyns are within walking distance and there is great climbing at Tremadog.
This is an informal social and mountaineering weekend. You can get some QMDs in, do a bit of scrambling or log some climbing routes, hope for mist and a chance to do low vis nav other than at night - and just have fun.
For full members, your quality mountain days or climbing sessions over this weekend will count as CPD as part of your 20 days / sessions, personal or group and just need to be logged in Dlog in the normal way.
Sleeping is on alpine-style floor mattresses, but be warned - it's a single sleeping loft (8 comfortable, 10 absolute max) so everyone has to share the same sleeping space. There are hot showers and washbasins.
Tom Wells will be organising supper for everyone on the Saturday evening, and basic tea, coffee, bread, spread and marmalade will be provided. The cost covers all of that, together with the electricity meter and fuel for the stove. You should bring any extras you want for breakfast, and stuff for your supper on Friday and your lunches on Saturday and Sunday. Bring wine, beer, single malt, etc. There is a simple shop in the village, and a Tesco at Porthmadog. There is a pub within walking distance.
Parking is limited, so shared transport is good. We can contact everybody nearer the time to see what can be fixed up.
