WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES:   

This course is intended for MLs who intend on working on the Crib Goch and Crib y Ddysgl ridge. 

Route selection, safeguarding on steep steps, escape routes, geology and some environmental information about Crib Goch.

After completion, attendees should feel more confident about working on Crib Goch in the remit of a Mountain Leader. 

please note this is not a course for people who are not happy with heights, but for Mountain Leaders who already are confident with scrambling and feel they could lead safely on Crib Goch.

EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED: 

every thing for a mountain day. Rope and helmet are optional. PLEASE BRING FACE MASK, BUFF and HAND SANITISER

CATERING/FOOD:

none. PLease bring a packed lunch and enough snacks and drinks for a mountain day out. 

WORKSHOP PROVIDER CREDENTIALS: 

Steve Howe is an MIA, SML, WML and IML. He has had many years working, climbing and walking in the outdoors including 14 years at the National Mountain Centre for England & Wales. 

CANCELLATION PROCEDURE: 

If we decide to cancel (due to weather or Covid 19) there will be a full refund or your place will be held over to another course. 

If you, the attendee cancels, we will only be able to offer a refund if your place can be filled by someone else.
